It’s almost a year ago since I did a public raw food class.  The last one was in October 2017 with Tefal Appliance Philippines.  At first it was scary but then the moment I got into it, I was into it.

Loving Tefal over and over again

It’s another Tefal Experience day!  Got there expecting to be on stage to demo raw and vegan dishes.  Turned out there was no stage.  Clients of Abensons in BGC will go around the different booths to see and experience different kitchen brands.  Since it is October, I opted to demo some burgers, booze, and fries using Tefal Fry Delight and blender.  The result?  Another amazing experience.22310380_1424018614360071_8920575052363376233_n

Breathe: A Holistic Wellness Event – Raw Food Preparation Class #54

I never like going to the hospital.  I don’t like the scent of a hospital.  I don’t like seeing hospital beds and look of sadness in the eyes of sick people.

But somehow my work keeps bringing me to hospitals.  From 2008 to 2013, I worked as a Communications Campaigner for Health Care Without Harm-Asia, a non-government organization handling environmental issues in the health care setting.  That work meant visiting the hospitals a lot and meeting doctors, nurses, and other health care workers.

Soon after I left the job, I thought my hospital work is over.  But seems it is not.  I guess it’s part of my mission.  To bring natural healing through food and yoga to everyone and that means even those or most especially those in the hospital.

Tefal Brand Experience Workshop at SM Appliance

Early this year, I thought I will still be conducting small raw vegan private and group classes.  The same as the previous year and the year before that.  But it’s obvious now that there are other plans for me.  Collins International has launched Tefal Small Domestic Appliance in the country, pulling out its sister company Moulinex, and once again invited me to be on board as Tefal’s Corporate Chef.

With this new title comes a new responsibility and of course perks!  One of the responsibility was conceptualizing with the team the theme for the year.  I initially suggested happy and healthy eating – I just believe that healthy eating always equates to happy eating.  From this initial suggestion, Tefal team came up with the 2017 campaign #LiveHealthyStayHappy.
