Healing Arts

Energy work is a huge part of what I do.

As a yoga teacher, centering the mind is crucial as well as clearing the energy.  I remember when I started teaching yoga, I always felt so tired whenever a new student joins the class until my Reiki master reminded me to seal myself in every class.  Since then, each class has been a joy.

I have been a Reiki practitioner since 2007 and is attuned to the 2nd degree of the traditional Usui lineage by Reiki Master Nina Manalang.

Chi Nei Tsang came much later in 2013 after attending a Chi Nei Tsang and Heaven and Earth Qigong certification with Dr. Rene Navarro, Dipl.Ac.  I love the feeling of having the tummy massaged and the internal organs getting the much needed attention and space to breath.

Reiki

healingarts1Reiki is a Japanese healing arts that is done by placing the hands on the person being healed.  It is known to reduce stress and re-channel the energy on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels allowing the person to experience relaxation or calmness during and after the treatment.  Release of intense emotion may occur during the session.

Session may last for 30 minutes to one hour.

Chi Nei Tsang

Chi Nei Tsang which literally means “internal organs chi (energy) transformation” is a Taoist Chinese healing modality.  A session would include deep and gentle abdominal massage lasting for 30 to 45 minutes.  The massage targets the internal organs allowing it to “breath”.  Processing of emotions associated with each internal organs, based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, may occur during the treatment.
