Chocolates Are Forever – Raw Food Preparation Class #38

While Valentine’s Day isn’t my most special occasion – especially not when I’m single or recently been broken hearted – I fancy the idea of making chocolates or anything that has chocolate in it for the V-day.  In this class, the 2nd series of #RawFoodIsTheNewHot, we talked about glycemic index and the different sweeteners available.  And so far, the verdict still remains: coconut nectar and coconut sugar is by far our best option in the Philippines.

WINGS-Philippines 2016 Launch Extravaganza

So it’s 2016!  To start the year, I joined the WINGS (Women International Network Giving Support)-Philippines 2016 Launch Extravaganza to sell some raw food goodies.  With me were other members of the Compassionate Conscious Choices: Jaq and Jertie of Jertie’s Kitchen (for vegan and gluten-free food), Lakapati and Alvin of The Real Happy Cow (for vegan cheeses), and Pam of Iba Di Ba (accessories).

The event was attended by women entrepreneurs.  Strong, empowered women graced the event to share their stories of trials and triumphs.

A good way to start the year.
