Moulinex Masterchef 2000: the next best thing in your kitchen

IMG_3572v1a

So you’ve decided to eat healthier and eat more raw, bought all the right ingredients, and made those lovely salads and eat those fresh fruits.  But somehow you’re craving for something more.  Something that resembles a cooked dish.  What do you do?  It’s time to shop for the right equipment.

First things first.  When I made that decision to really take charge of what’s on my plate, I knew I had to slowly shop for the right equipment for my kitchen.  First thing on my list was a blender.  You need it to make smoothies, salad dressings, soups, and everything that needs thorough blending.  But somehow I needed more.

The search for the right food processor began.  The difference between the two?  With  a blender, the juice comes out of the food.  Food processor just cuts the food into small pieces without extracting the juice.

Celebrate Life: Healthy is fun, UP Food Service Wellness Event

It was a good way to start the week. An hour of yoga session with the staff and employees of the University of the Philippines Food Service. The head of the service is a Fine Arts professor thus she brings her art into the food that they serve. They are implementing the 5Ms of the food service, hope I remember it right – masustansya (healthy), mura (cheap), masarap (delicous), malinis (clean), and maganda (beautiful).
