Moulinex Masterchef 2000: the next best thing in your kitchen

So you’ve decided to eat healthier and eat more raw, bought all the right ingredients, and made those lovely salads and eat those fresh fruits.  But somehow you’re craving for something more.  Something that resembles a cooked dish.  What do you do?  It’s time to shop for the right equipment.

First things first.  When I made that decision to really take charge of what’s on my plate, I knew I had to slowly shop for the right equipment for my kitchen.  First thing on my list was a blender.  You need it to make smoothies, salad dressings, soups, and everything that needs thorough blending.  But somehow I needed more.

The search for the right food processor began.  The difference between the two?  With  a blender, the juice comes out of the food.  Food processor just cuts the food into small pieces without extracting the juice.

I never knew anything about food processors until I attended my 1st raw food classes with Jonny Freesh of Raw Food Bali.  He had a nice, simple food pro and advised me to get one if I really wanted to create more raw dishes – halva, neat loaf, brownies, breads, and cakes…  things I really love to create and eat.

So I bought my first food processor.  Moulinex Masterchef 2000 food processor.  What is it that I love about it?

  • It does the job so well.  It processes my brownies into chunky yet soft texture.  It blends everything so well.  And you may fill the whole bowl and get the same result – a perfect and even blend.
  • It’s so easy to carry.  It’s light.  It’s perfect to bring around to my classes and even to parties with friends, just to show them how this food processor makes my life so much easier.
  • It has a pulse function for those hard-to-chew/blend food items.
  • It has several attachment that may turn the food pro into a blending or emulsifying machine.  But the thing I love most about it?  It includes two blade attachments – one for slicing veggies like potato and sweet potatoes and…. brace yourself… IT HAS A SHREDDER which makes my carrot life so much easier.  I love carrot but I don’t like cutting and manually shredding them.  But with my Masterchef 2000, it shreds the carrots into fine little pieces that’s perfect for my salad.
  • It’s light but sturdy.  I had my food pro for a few years now, traveled with it on a bus, ferry, and plane, and not once did I need to have it repaired.
  • Lastly, damn it’s red!  And I can never say no to red.  Seriously look does matter to me. 🙂  Or red does matter.  It makes my kitchen and my life brighter.  But it comes in different colors too, in case you’re not a fan of red.

So if you’re shopping for your next health equipment, I’d say go for Moulinex Masterchef 2000 food processor or Masterchef 5000 and 9000 if you need a bigger bowl.  I’m not saying this because I’m the brand ambassador.  I’m the brand ambassador because I’m their #1 fan.

If you’re wondering about the title…  The first best thing in your kitchen will be love, you need lots of it to create wondeful dishes!
