Tefal Brand Experience Workshop at SM Appliance

Early this year, I thought I will still be conducting small raw vegan private and group classes.  The same as the previous year and the year before that.  But it’s obvious now that there are other plans for me.  Collins International has launched Tefal Small Domestic Appliance in the country, pulling out its sister company Moulinex, and once again invited me to be on board as Tefal’s Corporate Chef.

With this new title comes a new responsibility and of course perks!  One of the responsibility was conceptualizing with the team the theme for the year.  I initially suggested happy and healthy eating – I just believe that healthy eating always equates to happy eating.  From this initial suggestion, Tefal team came up with the 2017 campaign #LiveHealthyStayHappy.

And the perks?  Many!  One, I get to try out their kitchen equipment, then I get discounts.  Second, I meet a lot of people.  Third, I get to enjoy a team of very helpful and reliable Tefal staff that I don’t even need to prepare my own ingredients prior to my raw food demonstration – yes, they do everything for me.  But most important perk is I get to promote my advocacy of health, healing, and happiness.  My 3H.  My north.

As Tefal Corporate Chef, I signed a contract to do 10 events for them.  I’m on my 3rd now.  The first two at Abenson Ascott and the third at SM Appliance.  It gets interesting everytime.  At the brand experience workshop, I got to talk to the store managers and supervisors of SM Appliance.  It was a fun morning of sharing and talking about juicing and smoothies.  Of course, some of the managers and supervisors are not too keen to try out the green juices and I totally understand them.  Hopefully in time, I don’t just get to share to them my advocacy but instead change their hearts too to eat healthier and happier.
