Raw Vegan Food goes to the Philippine Senate: Raw Food Preparation Class #48
It’s been a while since I was at the Philippine Senate. Yes, for 15 months way back in 2007, I worked as the Writers and Media Group Head of a Philippine Senator. It was in his office where I found that my calling in life must revolve around health and the environment. Yes, I loved working there – writing press releases, speeches, and even columns plus organizing press event.
Raw Vegan Food goes to the Philippine Senate: Raw Food Preparation Class #48, March 22, 2017, Senate of the Philippines, Pasay City, Philippines.
When I left the Senator’s office and moved on to working in an international non-government organization on environmental health, the only other time I was in Senate was to say hi to former colleagues and visit another Senator for my new I-NGO.
Ten years later, it’s a different me walking in that same building. Same face. Same heart. But with a bigger goal of sharing raw vegan food. I also shared three yoga classes. I will share the story in another blog.
I believe I had it in me all along – the dream of sharing healthy living to people and that’s probably why I got to work for the Senator whose also very much into environment and health.
Now about the class, as always, it was fun! I had 6 people who volunteered to assist me. It was my biggest raw food class ever – 60 students! And I got the most number of questions during the Q&A. Will I do another hands on class? For sure!
