My 1st raw food bazaar
It’s already way past midyear and still a lot of first time events happening in my life. Most recent… the 1st Quezon City Food Festival where I joined to sell my raw food goodies.
I just wanted to give it a try. See if it something I want to do in the coming months and it was a success! It was tiring, of course. My niece and I were at Maginhawa Street at 5:30 in the morning setting-up the tables and boards.
I stayed in the booth until almost midnight, not having a single minute to walk around and check other stalls.
But as I said, it was a good first time. I met new friends and reconnected with old friends. Apart from 3 Apple Crumble pies and some brownies, everything else was sold out. (Some friends are still buying the brownies and if all goes well, it might be sold out today!) I still get orders for Durian Kiwi Pie (I was able to sell the pies even before the event by just posting it in my Facebook!) and I might just start getting Christimas orders.
I feel so blessed to be there especially with my three sisters, my niece, and grandniece who stayed at the tent until closing time.
